However, this doesn’t mean that you should copy their exact business model or features. Instead, it’s better to focus on finding ways to improve upon what they have and offer your users something unique that they won’t find elsewhere.

For example, some sportsbooks have been quick to limit sharp bettors who bet early and often on certain games. Others have used a more sophisticated approach to limiting bettors by using a variety of metrics, such as closing line value. This metric considers the total amount of money that has been wagered on a specific game and compares it to the expected return of a bet.
